After half a lifetime spent on skis and snowboards, it was time to share our love for the mountains with you. That's why in 2009 we founded Exclusive Mountain Guiding (EMG) – private ski and snowboard coaching, professional and individually tailored to your needs.

You choose the skills you want to improve and the terrain you want to conquer – we make it possible. We work with all levels, adults and children. Team EMG, we're here for your snow adventure.

In March 2019, we embarked on a new chapter, expanding our existing company, Exclusive Mountain Guiding, with our Tannberg Ski School, based in Lech am Arlberg. We also opened our office here, within the premises of Peter and Martina Strolz's excellent restaurant, "Fux." We look forward to welcoming you here for your questions, bookings, or simply a friendly chat over coffee.

In December 2019, we reached another milestone in our company history with the opening of our own children's and beginners' area in the heart of Lech – Foxies Kinderland. This was all made possible by the incredible support and trust of Isabelle and Stefan Burger, who generously provided us with the space next to the exclusive Hotel "Der Berghof." Here, we have two private magic carpets right next to the Baby Berghof rope tow, all of which make learning to ski much easier. Our outdoor area offers plenty of space to practice, as we offer a very limited number of courses, and if you or your children get cold, you can warm up in our heated igloo. 

Since the opening of Foxies Kinderland, we have also been offering exclusive children's groups with a maximum of six children.

A lot has happened for us in the past ten years. It's a story of passion, enthusiasm, innovation, and creativity that guides us to this day.

WHO WE ARE

We, Ski School Tannberg Lech - Exclusive Mountain Guiding Arlberg (EMG), specialize in private ski and snowboard lessons and small children's groups, both on and off the slopes in Austria's top resort, Ski Arlberg.

We live and breathe the culture of the Alps. Our ski instructors are highly qualified and teach skiers and snowboarders of all levels in a range of languages: German, English, Dutch, and Swedish. We work with an international clientele, the most exclusive local hotels, and luxury travel providers worldwide. Over time, we have grown very fond of many of our partners, and they have become our good friends.

Tannberg Ski School in Lech, part of the EMG family, is the local ski school provider for Lech am Arlberg. Since opening our ski school in Lech, we have also offered small group lessons for children and teenagers. We keep our group sizes small to guarantee consistently high quality.

WHERE WE ARE

Lech am Arlberg is our local base. The ski school office, as well as our beginner area – Foxy Kinderland – are both located in the center of Lech.

The Arlberg, the cradle of alpine skiing, is renowned for its extraordinary beauty, reliable snowfall, and excellent slope conditions. As one of Austria's top ski resorts and the largest interconnected ski area (Lech-Zürs-Warth-St. Anton-St. Christoph-Stuben), it was named the best ski resort in the world in 2017. With 305 kilometers of groomed slopes, precisely prepared runs for all levels, and 200 kilometers of ungroomed off-piste routes, challenging steep descents, and deep powder snow, it attracts skiers and snowboarders from around the globe every year.
